#1 Summer highlights


1. I created a new class and I absolutely loved teaching it! In June/July, I offered a 6-week series called: Pranic Flow: Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation for Your Energy Body. You can learn a bit more about it below but what I want to share on a more personal level is how much I loved being steeped in the heart of yoga which is about so much more than movement! I loved designing a class around pranayama/breathwork, meditation, yogic principles AND asana/postures. Practicing with my energy body in mind felt so freeing and it definitely left me feeling more energized - more alive!!! 


2. Both of my daughters are home for the summer and I am loving having a full house again! It's also the first summer when I've had two fairly independent kids who don't require much in the way of drives/pick-ups and mid-day meals. So while I am loving having them around a lot, I am also loving having my first summer that isn't dictated by everyone else's needs. I have definitely found a sweet spot here! 


3. I'm currently 6 days into a 3 week trip - 12 days working/playing in Chicago and then a 10-day road-trip, looping from Boston to Quebec City, over to Montreal, down to New Hampshire and back to Boston. I love road trips with my family, in part because it means lots of time together. For me, close-quarters supports deeper connections, deeper conversations, and deep belly laughs!

4. I've been loving my day-job! Practicing yoga with my Your Yoga members and connecting with my yoga therapy clients every day has been really beautiful. I feel so grateful that I get to do this work in the world!!!

5. And one more silly little thrill. Last summer, a mama hummingbird built a nest in my backyard and hatched two babies. This year the babies are back (maybe not babies anymore) and feasting. I love watching them so much and in a ridiculous way, I feel like I've played some tiny role in raising them and keeping them safe (emphasis on the word tiny!).


#2 Pranic Flow: Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation for Your Energy Body
 

This 6-module series is now available to explore at your own pace. Each module includes a 60-70 minute class and reflection prompts to help you gain insight and integrate what you learned. I loved working with these practices both as a teacher and a practitioner. What stood out most for me personally was how enlivened I felt! I hope you'll join me!

#3 Two new podcast episodes!


Both Darla Ridilla, host of You Have the Power: The Road to Recovery From Trauma and Narcissistic Abuse, and Jennifer Redmond, of Cycles and Seasons: From Fertility to Menopause, are wonderful podcast hosts and I really enjoyed my conversations with them!
