New Course - Your Energy Body!

How are you???? I know it’s been a minute since you’ve heard from me. I’ve been doing my usual things - teaching, parenting, traveling and generally enjoying life and work and the overlap between the two (like a fun trip to Mexico with friends to check out new retreat centers).  

 

But before I go further, if you'd prefer to skip around, here’s what you’ll find in this newsletter:

But first, just a little more about where I am today. First and foremost, I am feeling the summer upon me. I have two kids back in the house - one back from college for summer break - and the other almost finished with the school year. I am reminded of how quickly my routines go out the window at this time of year (like the fact that I’ve skipped my lap swim today for no good reason). Whether you have kids on summer break, or your own summer plans are starting to disrupt your usual schedule, you may be starting to feel that where and who am I summer feeling

 
 

Is it really so much to ask, to have at least one thing that both grounds us and expands us, when we’re in the midst of chaos?
 

 

With that in mind, I’ve decided to offer a 6-week in-person (and recorded) series this summer. Every year, I say no to summer offerings because it always feels too crazy to commit to anything. But this year, I’ve decided that that’s exactly why I want to offer something. 

  

 

I asked myself what’s been supporting me these days and thought about how much I’ve been relying on my “pranic practices”. I’ve been loving working with energy-oriented practices, including breathwork and flow sequences that cultivate experiences of both deep grounding and huge expansion. After these sessions, my body sometimes feels so alive that my arms begin to float away from my body, leaving me feeling both rooted and buoyant all at once. 

 

I’d love to share these practices with you - both in-person and online!

 

So I’ve put together a 6-week series called:
 

Pranic Flow: Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation for Your Energy Body


AND I have the perfect place to offer it in person! The Gait Lab, in the 9th and 9th neighborhood, is a spacious, window-filled studio that I love spending time in!

 

AND if you’re not in Salt Lake City, I’ll be recording the class from my own home studio as well so you can come in person, watch online or a combo of the two!

If you’d like a little, "pranic flow" taster, or just want to practice in-person with me at the Gait Lab, I’ll be offering a pop-up class on Saturday, June 7, 10am - 11:30. This is such a lovely place to practice yoga - so much light!!!
